Issue Management:  A Corporate Imperative
to Transform High Hopes to High Value Results

The stakes – and stakeholder expectations – have hit a record high.  In response, companies have risen to the challenge with well-intended management philosophies.  Yet many grapple with the question of how to implement the “hopes” rooted in corporate citizenship, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, accountability, governance, risk management, product stewardship and transparency.  And without seeing action to back up words, critics are growing more skeptical and impatient.

In a complex, connected and competitive business world where willingness to settle for a “win or lose” outcome is on the wane, no matter what your good intentions, sooner or later, a gap will open between your actions and stakeholder expectations. “An issue” is inevitable.  A corporate imperative is at hand:  Find solutions to vexing issues in a manner that optimizes stakeholder interest.  More than a management philosophy, Issue Management is a management discipline that uniquely offers a business process and set of tools that make intentions actionable and deliver high value results.

Don’t expect a showcase of glory stories, not directly relevant to your needs.  Rather, you will hear from speakers at leading companies around the world how they:
