James Lamble

James Lamble joined Bechtel in 1985 in the Washington DC office as a government affairs representative and has worked on nearly every aspect of Bechtel’s public affairs and communications activities during the past twenty-five years.

Lamble has represented Bechtel as senior communications manager on domestic and international projects, headed the public affairs function for Bechtel’s civil works global business unit, and served as the senior region communications manager for Bechtel offices in Los Angeles and Singapore.

Jim currently serves as Deputy Manager for Bechtel Global Corporate Affairs and manages the departments’ corporate issues management team.

Prior to his work at Bechtel, Lamble was a transportation planner in Kansas City, Missouri, and a legislative director in the US House of Representatives in Washington, DC, specializing in export trade legislation and foreign affairs matters.

Jim graduated with a B.A. in History from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri and studied Spanish language and culture at the Universidad Catolica del Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador.
